When is Power BI the right choice — and when isn't it?

Power BI is excellent for BI, visualization, self-service and reporting: consolidating data from several sources and showing what is happening in a clear, governed way. What it doesn't do on its own is planning: write-back (writing back into the model), multidimensional consolidation and version governance of scenarios (budget, revised, actual). For that you bring in planning platforms like TM1 or Anaplan, integrated with Power BI for visualization. We're honest about the limit — and we help you combine the right tools.

How do you ensure reliable data behind the dashboard?

We start with the modeling: a correct data model, with documented relationships and DAX measures, fed by a single source instead of several loose spreadsheets. We validate that the numbers reconcile with accounting and define governance — who feeds it, when it refreshes and how each indicator is calculated. A dashboard is only as good as the data behind it, and that's the layer where we put the care.
